The first pair I bought was fantastic! They were light, comfortable, held a good shine and lasted a year of heavy abuse. Now about the 2nd pair, I can't say the same. The boots are still light and comfortable but could not put a shine since it's some kind of synthetic leather. My job requires a shine on our boots so I was disappointed I could not make them shine no matter what I tried! For this reason they get 4 stars instead of 5.
