These are great! Well made, but they ARE Merrell so that’s expected. They feel a bit heavy out of the box, if you aren’t used to heavy duty boots. (I was wearing very light weight Timberlands before these) you get used to the heft very quickly. I recommend these, I use them for work and I walk a LOT.Out of the box my two other pair of Merrel Moab boots (winter hiking and summer hiking) fit like a glove and were very comfortable. These are not those boots, these needed some walking around to start to break in and had to be re-tied twice on the walk. Now that they're starting to break in they're becoming almost as comfortable as my other pairs. The bottom sole is much stiffer but it's also a much tougher rubber and the toe box feels a little longer as well. Once these have been used at work for a bit I'll update on the durability.This was a no-brainer purchase for me since I already have the 8" boot version of the Moab 2. I got the mid size for summer duty boots and have not been disappointed. I am typically picky with shoes/boots being comfy and the Moab 2 models have not disappointed. They are comfy. They are solid.At this point, I would replace them with the same if they had to be replaced.These are by far the most uncomfortable boots I have owned. I work at a mill the requires steel toes, so I have worn a lot. The steel toe only covers the first four toes which leave my pinkie toe jammed up against the edge of the protection.Very light and comfy....firs well to me.I was surprised how light weight the boot was and very comfortable.Wrong sex . Was wanting for womanI’m always a size 11. My feet are not wide but they’re kinda flat. I wanted these shoes for the reputed durability and comfort. I spend hours daily at work walking on concrete and uneven surfaces. I was unable to experience the boot because they run an obnoxious 1/2 size too big. #1 rule of taking care of your feet, make sure you have an excellent fit.
